Esaform
ESAFORM is an association with the mission to stimulate applied and fundamental research in the field of material forming.
Its annual conference, the International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming, is used to achieve one of the main goals of ESAFORM: to spread scientific and technological information related to material forming within academia and industry.
Paestum 2025
The 28th International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming – ESAFORM 2025 – will be organized by the University of Salerno and the University of Calabria, on May 6 – 9, 2025, in Paestum, Italy.
The conference will cover numerous disciplines related to material forming including all kinds of materials (metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites), processes (traditional and new forming processes), scales (nano, micro, macro, and meso), and approaches (data-driven, modeling, simulation, analytical, experiments, …).
It will bring together specialists from academia and industry worldwide to discuss the latest technological innovations and recent achievements in material forming.
University of Salerno
Founded in 1968, it offers degrees in 10 faculties, with over 35,000 students enrolled. Historically linked to the Schola Medica Salernitana, it is known for its modern research facilities and international collaborations.
University of Calabria
Established in 1972, it has a large campus, enrolling around 25,000 students. Known for its focus on innovation and international partnerships, it offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
